Though a better fit for summer, Chana Chaat made a good and light meal for a late Saturday lunch. This is a very traditional Indian/Pakistani snack and appetizer. Quick and simple to make if you have the key ingredients already available at home. But what is the kick? You can vary the ingredients based on your own flavour palette but this snack needs to be spicy and tangy.

Reading Non-Fiction

I have always been a story reader and my interest in non-fiction is fairly premature. I am developing it, in favour of my ardent pursuit of knowledge. I find that it is much more challenging than reading fiction and offers a vastly different experience. With a story, I start from the beginning and it just carries me through to the last page. I tried the same with my non-fiction reading choices but did not have as much success. Self Care and the Spa

My first ever spa retreat! I have had back massages before but a full spa retreat package and the pampering and revitalizing was so new to me. It really was a wonderful day in itself but it also shifted my perception: my head was clearer and more focused in the present moment than it has been for a long time and I got inspired to take even better care of myself.
